(1) Filtration: Inward and outward, the gravity flow of sewage enters the filter, so that the filter pan is completely immersed in the sewage. A water distribution weir is set in the filter, so that the water is evenly distributed in the filter and the water inflow generates low disturbance. Sewage is filtered through a filter cloth. After the filtered liquid is collected through a hollow pipe, it is discharged out of the filter tank through a weir. During the cleaning process, filtration is still in progress. Therefore, filtering is continuous throughout the entire run.

(2) Cleaning: Part of the sludge is absorbed in the fiber wool filter cloth during the filtration, and a sludge layer is gradually formed. With the accumulation of sludge on the filter cloth, the filtering resistance of the filter cloth increases, and the water level of the filter gradually rises. The pressure sensor in the filter tank monitors the liquid level in the tank. When the liquid level in the tank reaches the cleaning set value (high water level), the PLC can start the backwash pump to start the cleaning process. Backwash time and cycle can be adjusted. The sludge on the filter cloth is discharged from the drainage system of the plant area through the back suction device and the back washing pump. The filter can be continuously filtered during cleaning.


working principle:

During the filtration, the filter turntable is in a static state, which is beneficial to the bottom sedimentation of the sludge. During cleaning, the filter turntable is rotated at a speed of 0.5 to 1 revolutions per minute. The negative pressure of the backwash water pump sucks the surface of the filter cloth, removes the sludge particles accumulated on the filter cloth, and the water in the filter turntable is sucked from the inside to the outside at the same time, which has a cleaning effect on the filter cloth. The instantaneous flushing area only accounts for about 1% of the area of the full filter turntable, and the backwashing process is intermittent.

During normal cleaning, two filter disks are used as a group. Each time a group of filter disks are cleaned, it is controlled by automatically switching the electric valve on the suction pump pipe, and the cleaning of each group is performed alternately during a complete cleaning process of the fiber disk filter. The operation of the suction pump is continuous during this time. When the quality of the incoming water suddenly deteriorates and the backwash cycle is ≤15 minutes, the system will start emergency measures and start 2 to 4 backwash pumps at the same time to backwash 2 to 4 sets of filter disks (4 to 8 disks) until The backwash cycle returned to normal.

(3) Sludge removal: A bucket bottom is set under the filter turntable of the fiber turntable filter, which is beneficial to the collection of sludge at the bottom of the pool. The sediment on the bottom of the sludge pool reduces the amount of sludge on the filter cloth, which can extend the filtration time and reduce the amount of backwash water. After a set period of time, the PLC starts the sludge pump and returns the sludge to the plant drainage system through the perforated sludge pipe at the bottom of the pond. Among them, the mud discharge interval and mud discharge duration can be adjusted.

In addition, when the treatment system in front of the filter fails, the sludge drainage system can be started to play the role of emptying the filter.
